Ugh. Reading that headline makes my head hurt. But, as discussed previously on LGF, this viewpoint is real and prevalent among fundies. As far back as the early 90s, when I was in the Navy, I heard fundie sailors openly discuss that global warming is a hoax because God wouldn’t let mankind destroy the earth. True [and painful] story.

The crazy thing is, NOBODY is saying AGW will “destroy the Earth”. Did these fundie sailors think mankind might destroy itself with, say, a global thermonuclear war?
