The most interesting artifact I have is a simple caliper a great-uncle made as a journeyman blacksmith. Still works, and it wouldn’t surprise me if it is 100 years old or more.

I have a number of tools and other things from my grandfather, the town jack-of-all-trades. However, my real treasure is his wedding ring, which fits me perfectly. I am absolutely his grandson.
