Keep in mind that Ricky S came in second last time around, and if Sheldon Adelson had not thrown a lot of money into Newt Gingrich’s campaign, it could have come to a floor fight at the GOP convention, which is the last thing they wanted or want in 2016.

They really should have thought more about that before working the entire GOP base into a “THIS IS MY HILL AND I WILL STAND AND DIE UPON IT” mentality
