A couple of threads ago there was discussion of life-changing albums. I would say the live albums “Beatles Live at the Hollywood Bowl” and the Stones’ “Get Yer Ya-Yas Out” each changed me—I thought: I have to do this. But incredibly, in the midst of punk and disco war, it was my brother’s Only Ones albums that did it for me. I I loved the CBS studio version of this first (over produced), but this is the best.
