I grew up around and still remain around many fervent anti-abortion people. It’s definitely not true that all want to roll back Griswold’s right to privacy/contraceptive access, and anecdotally I don’t even think it’s most. Maybe if you forced them to think through all the legal ramifications of Griswold and Roe, etc, they would agree, but it’s not the motivating factor.

Granted, this is coming from a protestant point of view, things are obviously very different on the Catholic side of the tracks.

Ah? Ask them about sex education in school. Do they prefer none, abstinence only, or full spectrum?

And in fact you should probably ask them the direct question - not griswold, but “should contraceptives continue to be over the counter goods anyone can purchse?”

Betcha you get a waffle, and something along the lines of needing at least SOME control.
