It acknowledges those relationships to the extent that it acknowledges most others. “If a man lies with a man…” in Leviticus could technically be construed as only referring to the act rather than the relationship, but it’s sort of implied.
I don’t really buy the “well the marriage is okay as long as they don’t actually touch each other” line of reasoning. It smells of rationalizing to justify continued belief in a faith that one knows is fundamentally wrong.
Yeah, I think we have different interpretations of this.
