But seriously, what it boils down to is an almost medieval attempt to use Christianity for social control of the downtrodden. In the Medieval era, the serfs were told that they had riches in Heaven to look forward to after their ‘nasty, brutish, and short’ lives, and that the social order was ordained by God.

Now, the TP are saying that questioning the social order puts your immortal soul at risk.

Isn’t it funny how the Bible always seems to support the current social order, even though JC himself was more of a disrupter of it?
