That video completely changed my mind. When I heard the story about this guy charging the cops with a knife, I figured it was justified. That’s not what I saw on the video.

Damn.

There was no else close to him, there weren’t any civilians to protect. I see absolutely no reason the police could not have tried to maintain their distance from him.

He didn’t run at them, more liked stalked them, looked like he was trying to work around to be able to go one on one with the officer on the passenger side. If that officer had retreated around the car instead of holding fast things might have worked out differently.

Sigh…
