Thanks. I just feel that this story is being ignored.

Granted that young women of this age were at the forefront of settling this Nation, indeed I suppose they were the true Mothers of this Nation. But have we become so blas that when a young adults life is in peril we blithely ignore it, or at worst claim her parents came from the shallow end of the gene pool?

I believe in encouraging the young. That means letting them out enough to take a risk. Sometimes that costs. For some the risk is stress or academic failure. For a few, it is breaking records and pushing boundaries.
