Not enough of one. They still have the House, and thus can completely stonewall any progress for the next 4 years.

Hopefully being in his final term will give Obama a spine.

The house will be up for a vote in two years. At that point, there will be another opportunity to remove GOP obstructionists.

Obama and the Dems might be stuck with two years of total gridlock and campaigning against the House Republicans.
