So what is Shaub saying here? It sounds like Cohen did pay the money, and in fact because he did make the payment he wanted DJT to reimburse him.

Cohen paid the money and now wants Trump to reimburse him.

This goes back to the original problem with Cohen’s statements. Cohen paid off Daniels, which is an act that should disbar Cohen. Throw in campaign finance law violations too.
