I’ll jump in, again.
There is SO MUCH that each & every one of us could be doing today, to make an impact, and at least slow the problem down. Recycle all glass, plastic, paper & cardboard. Take a shorter shower. Reduce, reuse or recycle everything that you can. Compost it! Let it feed a vacant lot near you. Collect rain water, if you can. Recycle everything that your local Thrift shop can sell, even if it’s for $0.25, better than having it go into a landfill. Can you grow some of your own fruits & veggies? They’re fresher & better for you anyway.
So, yes, there are some pretty easy things that almost everyone could do, if they wanted to.
