I’ve always been a socon.
For myself and how I live.
And part of that, for me, is having the gov’t stay out of the way as much as possible, so that I’m free to live as conservatively as I wish, and others are free to live however the heck they want.

Which means, of course, I think it’s just as silly for a city to tell McDonald’s what sort of toys it can put into its Happy Means, as I think it is for the gov’t to be involved in marriage. I find some liberals are happy with certain types of government interference, but not other types. Ditto conservatives. I don’t want any of it.

Well. I still hate the IRS. I can’t stand cigarette taxes and all of these anti-smoking laws. I despise the idea of a Nanny State and being told what I can buy to eat. Etc, etc.
