The regrettable part of that whole sad story is religion got in the way of what would have been the medically-sound choice: Abortion.

The man and woman both ruled that out right away, thereby also ruling out chemotherapy.

Something something God … now an unemployed man is raising five children, three of them under the age of five.

It’s not even close to that simple — look up the five-year survival rate for glioblastoma. She might have thought the baby had a better chance than she did. In any case, the decision in a case like that is hers, and no-one else’s.
