Newt Gingrich’s “Ethics Violations” have got to be one of the biggest yawners to to ever be tied to a politician. Let’s recap what the media hates to admit:

Eighty-four ethics charges were filed against Gingrich during his term as speaker, all by Democrats.

Eighty-three of the charges were later dropped.

The Ethics Committee’s Special Counsel, James M. Cole, concluded that Gingrich had violated federal tax law

In 1999, the IRS cleared the organizations connected with the “Renewing American Civilization” courses under investigation for possible tax violations.

Summary: Newt was falsely charged with 83 ethics violations by a hyperventilating media/democrat party. The Ethics Committee was uncertain about ONE CHARGE and proceeded with an investigation. The IRS fully exonerated Newt Gingrich. Total nontroversy.

If Newt were a democrat, the media would have summarized this “footnote” exactly as the handsome and charming rwmofo has so eloquently done herewith.
