that bit about “why are you still saying wall” is incredibly telling. it’s an admission that they know “wall” is bad branding and isn’t polling well. they must have something that polls (slightly) better… but they can’t keep Trump on the new branding.

otherwise, that’s just an amazing amount of worthless spin that puts her right back where she started.

I suspect they’ve told Trump that ‘Wall’ does badly in focus groups, but ‘barrier’ not so bad. But then Trump can’t help going back to ‘Wall’, because he’s a simpleton and, honestly ‘wall’ is a stronger word than ‘barrier’.
