How do you debug your PHP?
I installed Xdebug because it looks like it gives me the same kind of control I had with my C IDEs. Have you tried it?

I don’t have any formal debugging process. When I’m writing the code I turn most errors on, so by the time I’m done (i.e. no more errors) everything usually works okay. Until my boss or a client gets hold of it and tries to use it in some weird way I never thought of.
Also, we have a guy that does pen testing, so we usually get him to check and make sure things are secure.
