Sorry to be an hour late in replying!

It is a mess now, and if Dr. Pepper goes? I will have to calm NY Grampa down. What I fear is that there will, sooner than later, be one multi-conglomerate who gets rid of some of the products that are marginal and/or regional, and we will see a very different soft drink world, far more limited and far more expensive.

By the way, Dr Pepper is in no real danger of “going away” (because it is still very popular), just that it will probably end being bought out altogether by Coke or Pepsi. Because of the bottling and distribution mess, the company has little chance of growth as things are now.
