So you wouldn’t agree that there is waste and duplication of programs that could be done away with and that spending either put into programs truly in need of it or simply cut altogether?

I don’t agree. I’ve seen too many helpful education programs cut in my state to say that there is some way to do it effectively. They need more money, in fact, not less.

Another helpful program cut by Jeb Bush as Gov was the girl’s PACE program which took at-risk girls and taught them in a private school setting. The majority, some 80% went on to college or trade school. It kept problem kids off the street and made them functioning members of society. It was cut. What duplication of services?
