If we were to return to 90% marginal tax rates, we’d also need a lot more than the five or so tax brackets we currently have. Getting the estate tax back on track is another big part of any tax reform.

Your iPhone has far more processing capability than all the IRS had back when 90% rates were popular.

We don’t need “brackets” anymore. We can optimize tax revenues with dynamically (yearly updated) curves.
