Nothing wrong with showing a little mercy & compassion sometimes. It’s not as if she killed someone or mugged someone’s grandma. It was wrong, she knows it, and she needs to know HE knows it, but there’s nothing wrong with giving someone a second chance. Especially when there’s a kid involved.

Exactly.
This is a different sort of employment relationship than other types of employment. And thus far, the damage is minimal. And we don’t really know why she took the shirts. Hoops needs to find out before he decides what to do- and then he needs to get them back. And keep an eye on things.
