Hey Dark_Falcon! That’s because there are so few “liberals” left in America. The Democratic Party is NOT liberal; they are the Left and most of them the Far Left who, for reasons I can’t quite comprehend, really don’t LIKE or RESPECT America.
When I think of “liberals” I think of Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Scoop Jackson and the like. They could disagree with you but would have intelligent discussions about what and why they disagreed with you.
I’ve posted this before - still can’t find the damn link - but I did read in a few news stories that Nancy Pelosi won’t even answer phone calls or e-mails from the House Republican leader. THAT is FAR LEFT behavior.

I really admired Daniel Patrick Moynihan, God rest his soul. As UN ambassador, he once had the brass big ones to mention that the votes of certain third world delegates could be bought for a few thousand dollars. There was an awful uproar from the usual suspects, who declared the statement demeaning, offensive and undiplomatic (oddly enough, they did not declare it false). Moynihan responded that where he came from, people were taught to call a horse thief a horse thief.
