They really do believe that Sam just didn’t cut enough from the budget, that these tax hikes are being pushed by “leftists,” and the failure of tax cuts to create an economic boom in Kansas just means it wasn’t done “right.”

Christ, it’s like watching diehard communists declare that nobody has done communism like Marx intended, because if they’d done it right, it would be paradise.
