There is a Valero near our daughter and her family, in Brooklyn, where we fill up, as they are a US company, with no arab or Venezuelan gas, and also have great gas prices.

My husband will see if they also have Hires. Thanks! He is a bit doubtful, as there has to be a different distributor on the West Coast, but maybe?

Unfortunately, all the other Valero stations I’ve seen stock the same old things 7-11 and AM/PM do. This local guy does his own thing, I think. He switched from Arco to Valero last year because the company-owned AM/PM on the other side of the bridge was selling gas cheaper than he could get it from Arco.

You might want to check independent stores (it could be a bit of a quest!). The Hires brand is owned by Dr Pepper Snapple, interestingly enough.
