Nor am I, and I think blowback is real, too. I do not think that 9/11 was ‘blowback’, however. I think that it would have occurred regardless of our arming of the Afghani. I think it was a result of extremist religious sentiment.

“blowback” would be our inability to get involved with Iran and support the opposition wholeheartedly, due to our previous meddling.

Is that fair enough?
