It might be psychosomatic, but it just tastes better to me that way! Reminds me of when we go to Vermont and get cream from the neighbor who got it right from his cow without (OMG) pasteurizing it. Not sure about the fat traveling through the blood - seems like it goes right to my butt, not my bloodstream. ;)
