Wow. How’d the armorer build a mag spring that long that kept its temper? Usually, its the spring that’s the weak point in mag like that.

Yeah I know. It seemed kind of crazy to me too but apparently it worked. Remember that the .30 carbine is a small bullet and the magazines load double-stack, so the spring isn’t traveling as far as one might imagine. I imagine that it was a pretty tight wind though since it was supplying 11 rounds per second on average.
