Added to that 20% interest is the big increase in used car prices over the last few years. I’ve been looking and prices have gone crazy. I bought my wife a new (to her) vehicle for her b-day, just showed it to her yesterday. Luckily I have a friend who owns a very nice repair shop. He helped me put together a vehicle with a brand new engine and transmission for less than $6k.
