Need help—you all are such excellent researchers.

We have a resolution before city council next week to stop offshore drilling/seismic testing. A majority of our council members are indicating they’ll vote our way (against offshore drilling obviously) but there’s one member who’s been spouting all the API (American Petroleum Institute) stuff and now there are two API offshoot groups who are hardballing EVERYWHERE—

Energy Nation and Energy Citizens. I know they’re affiliated with API, but am trying to find out who is supporting them, both financially and ideologically.

Anything you can find, I would greatly appreciate it.
