Yep. They are going to go hell or high water to try to get the economy going again, and tens of thousands more are going to pay for it. It’s almost as if the value of a life, in the Trump administration’s eyes, is zero - not even a single penny can be spared for a poor person.

What make this even worse is that in addition to explicitly not giving a shit about human life, they don’t even give a shit about the economy. That’s just secondary to Republicans and most specifically Trump retaining power in November.

The analogy between this and the imaginary ‘pro-life’ concern for the life of the fetus is very strong.
