I’d recommend Good Old games [Link: www.gog.com…] if you’re on a budget, though. As a dude who was gaming on the Apple ][, Atari computers and Commdores, there’s a lot of amazing games that ren’t the current state of the art but which are superior in terms of core mechanics than a lot of the stuff coming out now. Publishers are risk averse and not as willing to innovate these days :P
Do the have “Castle”? I cut my gaming teeth on that one back in the Commodore days.
