Well, it would appear computer firms are all colluding to tie my computer up with updates all at the same time (that’s why I was out earlier).

Hewlett-Packard insisted on a driver update for my camera that I don’t use and a computer re-start.

My paid version of Spybot fouled up last week, and the company said today the correction was to uninstall, shut my computer down, then re-install it. (It dropped one of its drivers, and they said there was no way to reinstall just the driver. The driver was fouled up during an update to the software.)

Mozilla insisted my version of Firefox was going to implode if I didn’t update it right away.

Microsoft wants me to have this spiffy new update Creator which I doubt I’ll never use, but they insisted on it and shut my computer down for me.

Must be a four-hundred pound guy in a basement in New Jersey directing all this.
