See, that’s what bugs me and why I haven’t seen it. I mean sure, it’s easy to point out all the evil that Kony has done for decades, but what’s the answer?

We’re already fighting two wars and there are hotspots everywhere. We can’t just send troops in every time, especially in Africa. I don’t remember who said it, but someone was quoted this week saying that the West was not and could not be the savior of Africa, that it has to come from within. That’s very true. We can encourage them and try to do right by the people in the area by trying to stifle groups like the LRA economically, but sending troops in, especially to a resource rich troubled nation, is a dangerous proposition.

Still, it’s simply a stunning example as a study in propaganda techniques.
