Iām starting to think Warren just may be the VP pick. In any case, sheās thriving in the attack dog role.
There are still good reasons not to go with Warren for VP. A GOP governor would choose her replacement; She doesnāt exactly broaden the ticket or bring much governing experience; Massachusetts is not a swing state, etc. But she is certainly warming to the role.
Tim Kaine is a good possibility and someone Iāve liked for this spot for a while. Although of course with VAās one term limit, Kaine was only gov there for four years. He was a bit more conservative earlier in his career which could broaden the ticket to a degree, but I think his positions are pretty mainstream Dem ones now.
I also wonder if there are some legitimate dark horses not being mentionedāSomeone like Leon Panetta comes to mind. I think he left the Obama Admin on unfriendly terms, or at least disagreed with Obamaās FP to some degree. But would offer a wide range of experience.
