I (unfortunately) know some gamers and Magic players who work McJobs (sometimes literally) and have been fired from them as well. They’re almost stereotypical slacker types. Since I don’t pry in personal lives I have no idea what these guys are really doing for a living, and whether they have any goals beyond the next game and purchased pack of Magic cards.

I know those people, they tend not to be the gamers I hang with. My current gamer group includes a drunken chef who’s traveled to Korea and Japan, and can barbecue so good he can stop time, a local (VERY LOCAL) politician, my silly ass, a nursing student who’s worked in the psych field for 10 years, and Windsagio from here.

Magic players are really their own thing, I have no interest in CCGs. :D
