Perhaps it will contribute to the next form of government after Democracy …

Swarm intelligence would be a good description of a functioning democracy. Now, imagine, though, if during migration, half of the birds in a swarm suddenly got infected with with a virus that destroyed their perception, and they forced the group to fly into an oncoming truck.
