I really hate to say this..I really do…But baseball has been a dirty sport for the last 15 years…Every drug from speed to Coke to ‘Roids to everything a lab can produce…
I hope this isn’t the case…Have you guys ever googled how many pro Wrestlers have died from Drugs? There is a Database on line..

If you have never read it, or even if you have, revisit Jim Boutons book “Ball Four”. iirc, he stated that there were bowls full of bennies, uppers etc available in Major League clubhouses back then (book was a diary about the 1969 season)

Makes sense. Play a game that lasts till midnight. By the time you shower and go out for a bite and a beer, have to be at the ballpark at 10 am for a game at 1 pm
