I just don’t see it. Yes, the did recently change their logo. Yes, SOME similarities between it at the Obama campaign logo can be made. Honestly, I think it’s more that Obama’s logo looked similar to the old Pepsi logo, and Pepsi just revamped theirs, as happens every now and then.
And then, even *IF* the new campaign, wording wise, is designed to be reminiscent of the Obama campaign, that can just as easily be chalked up to “current cultural icon”. Obama *IS* the President, after all, like it or not. And Pepsi’s “generations” campaign has been going on for a long time.
It’s not something I’m going to quit drinking Pepsi products for. Not unless I see a lot more solid evidence to the matter.
