DeSantis doesn’t seem to get that Trump and his right wing echo chamber are themselves engaging in RICO by coordinating violence. This isn’t going to go nearly as well as this thug thinks it will.

With Barr as AG? Of course it will go well. If it’s GOP violence or murder, it’s Stand Your Ground defense because IOKIYAR. Trump is deliberately and maliciously destroying our nation but he has plenty of enablers — every Washington DC GOP legislator (possible exception of Romney, but probably not) , every GOP governor in the South, every state legislature run by the GOP. Barr’s thugs murdered Michael Reinoehl in Portland, and barely a peep about this crime, meanwhile Rittenhouse is still in an Illinois juvenile facility and not in custody in Kenosha. And let’s not forget Trump’s recent voluminous praise of Robert E. Lee. DeSantis can see all this and knows that he is free to do what he pleases, including the poll tax he instituted to bar those who completed their sentences from voting.
