But the A-10 is the only one of those two you can use against a target with functional air defenses. Against even ZSU-23-4’s the AC-130 would be blown out of the sky. The Spooky has great value, but it can’t really be used if the targets can shoot back effectively.

Works wonders against Decepticons, though…
