Anyone interested in a possible dystopia of a Corporate Government future might enjoy Walter Mosley’s Futureland.

I read Super Sad True Love Story by Gary Shteyngart last year: written in 2010, it describes life in America after the Great Currency Collapse.

The only people with status, privilege and anything beyond basic necessities are those with access to Yuan or Northern Euro-backed currencies…and the barely literate masses communicate by voice, video or emojis on their Äppärät (which is what they are called in the book).

And the last chapters are shockingly prophetic.
