Jon Voight is a Republican. Thought everyone knew that. Not saying he’s not crazy because he is a Republican. :) He has said some pretty wacky things on occasion — I guess we all do.

He’s said some wacky things, but in the main he stays with sane positions. And he’s never called for reporters whose views he dislikes to be jailed. Unlike Sean Penn, he actually understands and respects the First Amendment.
