I honestly wonder how the hell they would prove that. I’ve got my mom’s maternal grandparents immigration records but I don’t have any for my mom’s grandfather. I remember when that bigot Coulter suggested that only people who had four American born grandparents should be able to vote. I did the math quickly and found out that I would despite having family in the U.S as early as Washington’s first term be the first in my family that could vote. My Dad just missed since his Dad’s Dad was born in Germany.

Easy in my case: It was illegal for Poles to immigrate to the United States when my paternal grandparents did to escape the Nazis.
