Am curious now whether the Japanese are starting to dig out the Chernobyl studies since they have their own long-term contamination hazard sitting there and possibly just getting started in spreading fun isotopes into the local biome.

I’d think Japan already had some 65 years worth of research into the long-term effects of radiation exposure.
