I found the whole war sickening from end to end. I found Bush sickening, and Cheney sickening. I was against it to the point where I donated money to Kerry even though I was penniless. I cut off ties with anyone who repeated the Swiftboat shit. (and later I realized I’d done the right thing, some of those people are birthers now) The desecrated bodies just seemed to me to be What Happens In War. Civilians were killed, servicemen were killed. Why are these mercenaries the thing that keeps coming up? The mercenaries elected to be there for a lottery like payday. The civilians sure didn’t.

My heart goes out to the people who lived there, who were killed. not the cowboys who came in looking for excitement.
