For an extreme example you can take Rand Paul and his “businesses should be able to choose who they serve” stance.

Less extreme but more directly relevant to the issue here is the Republican party’s general opposition to minority quota legislation/affirmative action, the absence of which makes it very easy for businesses to avoid hiring “undesirables”.
