He was also pretty tall - his sword is kept in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Its easily 5’ 8” long … fancy using that in a battle!

The Bastard/Hand and 1/2, and the Greatsword/Claymore were often wielded by Knights of 5’6”, or less; they wore them backslung, so they could draw them over their shoulder. I’m kinda an old knight at heart, maybe a reincarnated one……..LOL.
