You should qualify that a bit lest you be berated for painting with too broad a brush.

The majority of UN seats belong to underdeveloped third world countries most of whom are little better than kleptocracies or worse. Is it any wonder that the UNCHR routinely issues statements condemning Israel while ignoring places like Darfur?

It isn’t that it is a criminal enterprise per se it is that most of the members come from governments that would be considered illegitimate by this countries standards.
