Strange that the haters would choose that phrase. It is sometimes used by Catholic Clergy, but they never use it in a racist context. It is supposed to be a statement of, yes, hope and faith in Jesus Christ and not a fronting for bigotry.

Hey Dark. Uh, do you see anything in that bit about the Catholic church that just might fly in the face of the facts about the church and bigotry?

I was raised Catholic and Catholic schooled. I won’t get into all the little things that led up to my one big decision about Catholic hierarchy, but lets just say bigotry entered into it.

And this isn’t attacking your comment…just mentioning those uncomfortable truths in the purpose of the statement as you have written it.
