The issue of support is key. The parental notification stuff is always tricky, because so many good parents want it because they think of parents as being people like themselves. They don’t think about the asshole who’s putting out cigarettes on his daughter’s arm, and what he’d do if he was told she was getting an abortion.

Question I always have for those types (and never get an answer): Why do you need the government to notify you of what your offspring are doing, wtf.
